I’d really like to be a professional singer. I have sung in choirs since I was 8 and really enjoy choral singing, especially singing solos. I’ve sung on my own in concerts and really enjoy it.
I suppose if it was my full-time job I wouldn’t enjoy it as much as it would be more stressful. But for now I’m happy to keep singing as a hobby and use it to relax at the weekends.

I would be a primary school teacher. I love kids and I think I would love teaching as kids that age are just interested in everything if you present it right.
Another plan would be to run my own business… I have considered party planning, or buying a barn with some cottages to run B&B and weddings/conferences. I reckon I’d do a really good job, and would love to be my own boss!

If not an engineer I would have liked to be a physicist or an architect! I still like physics and physics and engineering are quite connected. You use laws of physics for designing and creating any engineering device.
I use to and still like drawing a lot. I was rather good at drawing shapes, cartoons etc. Therefore, I think I might have chosen architecture as an option.

I think I would pursue science education. I love working with kids… I have been a preschool teacher and now I coach young kids and teach them how to swim and dive. I think that I would love teaching science to students like you!

      😉

I always thought that if I wasn’t in engineering, I would be a writer. Now, this has become a reality! I have become a writer who writes about engineering and science… the best of both worlds.

      Hello again mullerj.

I don’t want to pursue a career away from engineering, because I love what I do. If I had to choose an alternative, I think I would be a songwriter because I already write my own songs and I enjoy that very much as well. 🙂
