Good question!!! Nano technology is used in many applications for medicine. Researchers like myself used nanoparticles as drug delivery agents. We can use nanoparticles like a little bullets to take drugs to the places in the body that we want them. This way we don’t have to use as much of the drug, so strong drugs like cancer medicines become safer with Nanotechnology.

Nanoparticles are also used to FIND cancer in the body. Nanotechnology is helping MRI, PET imaging and other imaging devices to be able to better find small tumors inside the body. Nanotechnology has revolutionized many different areas of medicine, and may continue to.

Some researchers are using gold nanoparticles to treat Alzheimers!
